Nash for DC Life Monterey Sneakers...

Our friend Nash gives us a closer look into his highly anticipated debut sneaker design with DC Shoes on the brand’s Monterey model from the DC Life Collection.

The sneakers do an impressive job of blending a medley of different features and details, including Nash’s signature mock toe design, custom crepe outsoles, and overall English duck hunter aesthetic. The kicks are now exclusively available through DC Life stockists including our good friends over at Urban Industry.

alkr® really seemed to have pulled it out the bag with their latest range of products. When i received my brand new laptop sleeve I was impressed from the off to say the least. Every small detail have been thought about from the vibrant and eye catching packaging right down to the material choice and branding. We are not only designers, marketing guys and gadget freaks, but most importantly we are in love with our gadgets like Macbooks and iPhones.

We use them every day for work, and we travel the globe with them. But, at some point, we realized that something was missing in all those lounges, conference rooms, war rooms, coffee shops, and edit suits.

As much as we love the gadgets, we didn´t like the stuff that was made to protect them. It all felt too dull. Why should we hide an amazing piece of technology in something that did´t excite us as much as the gadget itself?

Coming in at £30 a sleeve and in both 13" and 15" sleeve varieties and £25 for the iPhone Cases, Alkr bring a very reasonably priced well designed colourful product to a dull sterile gadget accessory market. The laptop sleeves will be available at both Urban Industry & The Original Store within the next week or so, with the iPhone cases to follow shortly after.

Hermès x Leica M7 Camera

Today saw the official unveiling of the Hermès x Leica M7 Camera. Aside from the previously seen orange version, another calfskin choice includes an “etoupe” and chrome combination as well. The limited edition cameras will be limited to 100 pieces per color with sequential numbering ranging from 001/200 to 200/200.

Each camera body comes paired with a “Leica SUMMILUX-M 35 mm f/1.4 ASPH. wide-angle lens, a matching classic round lens hood, a LEICAVIT M rapid winder and a real leather carrying strap matched to the colour of the camera, all delivered in a linen-covered, silk-lined box.” Small subtle color changes also mark the overall design for the camera which will be released next month in the United Kingdom at select Leica dealers and at the Leica Store Mayfair. The camera will carry a suggested retail price of £8550 (approximately $14,382 USD).

10.Deep Winter 2009/2010 Preview...

Armed with attitude and copious amounts of paint, the Source: 10.Deep crew went from the streets to the streams of upstate forrest country to capture the looks of the upcoming Winter collection. The woodland area was best suited for documenting the hunting and outdoor inspired range. When not shooting, they took to the field of battle for simulated combat with camera’s in tow. This video look into our holiday collection couples the frenetic energy of NY mixed with the adrenaline of armed combat.

Ctrl Z vs The Freestylers - RUFFNECK '09 ft Navigator...

The Freestylers need no introduction and neither does their all time classic 'Ruffneck'. This Anthem has been re-recorded and hurtled into the future by notorious electronic punks Ctrl Z and has been one of the biggest tunes in the sets of the likes of Stanton Warriors, Krafty Kuts, Freq Nasty, Deekline and of course the 'Stylers for the past year!



Every time these two acts have met in the past, the results have been devastating. The Ctrl Z remix of The Freestylers & Pendulum track ‘Security’ was one of the highlights of 2007 and their album collab ‘Turn to Dust’ was rock breaks at its very best, so it was natural that the Stylers would turn to the Z to put their take on what is considered by many as the best Freestylers track ever!

This track was the subject of a Computer Music magazine masterclass and when you hear it you’ll see why. Blending the old with the new, Ctrl Z have managed to keep the ‘rough around the edges’ vibe of the Freestylers original, while stamping their monstrous bassline and synth sounds all over it.

Now it’s finally getting the release it deserves with remixes to blow your socks off including; the seemingly omnipresent High Rankin, best selling dubsteppers Excision & Datsik, bassline remix kings Pirate Soundsystem and the fast rising crack house wunderkid Rack n Ruin!

The vinyl (Original / Excision & Datsik remix) is due out on November the 23rd and all mixes will be available digitally on November 30th.

Nixon x Primitive Rubber Player

Nixon worked with Paul Rodriguez on a set of Rubber Players exclusive to his Encino, California-based shop Primitive. The watch comes in two colors: purple, representing the LA Lakers; and black, which draws from Primative’s signature color. Technically, the timepiece features a 3-hand Japanese Quartz movement, a silicon band, custom-engraved caseback with an amethyst or aquamarine stone and Primitive wordmark at the 6 o’clock position. Drops on November 14, 2009.

Levi’s X Times Square: Interview with Shepard Fairey

Definitely a nice piece regarding one of the more well-received collaborations of the year.

New Balance H574J New Releases

One of the more rugged outdoor model’s from New Balance’s archive, the H574J makes a return for Fall/Winter in two new vibrant colorways. The shoes feature a combination of buttery suede. premium leather, and mesh uppers with speckled detailing and colorful highlights, which take inspiration from old school trail jackets. Equipped with hiking laces, the shoes are ready for the street or terrain with a release expected this month at select New Balance retailers.

Ken Block’s TRAX Subaru WRX STi...

On the heels of Ken Block’s insane Gymkhana videos and the groundbreaking snowboarding/rally part to close out DC’s MTN.LAB 1.5 video, the DC Co-Founder and Rally Team Driver has joined with Subaru to make the world’s fastest cat track operation automobile for backcountry access for snowboarding.



The TRAX STI is an experimental automobile that starts with Block’s competition-ready Subaru WRX STI before ditching the tires, adding snow cat tracks, and upgrading to some next-level suspension to create the ultimate backcountry shred car. Prepared by Vermont SportsCar, performance modifications include 400-hp and features Group N competition rally dampers made by EXE-TC and a KAPS 5-speed close-ratio dog-engagement gearbox. Under the hood sits a 2.5 liter, 4-cylinder, turbocharged and intercooled STI engine tuned with a MOTEC M800 ECU.



Completing the TRAX STI is a sleigh to be pulled behind the car, designed to hold four snowboarders, their snowboards, and all their gear. The sleigh’s body is 100 percent custom designed and constructed of hand-laid fiberglass—though the sleigh is not seen in this teaser video, look for it in future videos next year. Altogether, this is one car ready for backcountry access and snowboarding.

OBEY Glow In The Dark T-Shirt Range...

The guys in the labs at OBEY HQ have been working on an exclusive project with glow in the dark inks. The final ink is so special because it will glow for up to four hours with just a few minutes of exposure to either natural light or artificial light. These tees not only glow for hours but also emit a much stronger glow than you would see from a normal glow tee that you may have seen in the past. The tees look like they have been printed with regular white ink during day light but when you turn off the lights they either glow florescent green or florescent blue depending on the design chosen.

The Tee's have now dropped over at Urban Industry, head over there now to cop yourself one of these super limited pieces!
